Colorado Spruce (Picea pungens) matures at 5m (16’) wide by 15m (50’) tall. They are evergreen with either blue, blue-green, or green sharp needles. Cones are sometimes produced, usually in drier years when the tree is more stressed. There are many cultivars on the market like ‘Fat Albert’ which was selected for its uniform growth and blue needles
