A prize for working a summer Saturday, paddled the length of the lake and back including the wetlands at the SW corner. Saw pelicans and osprey and other bird life, few other boaters beyond the immediate dock area. Left in the relative quiet with a few other boaters getting ready and a few shoreline fishermen. Returned to a very busy day use area complete with Filopino family cookup complete with music and generally a lot more people than expected. Kind of the theme for the year at such places.
