The parking lot shuttle driver alerted us that we could get above the inversion that had the valley cast in thick grey overcast (not unusual for Fernie) so we gunned for Timberline, White Pass, and finally Polar Peak chairs. Stunning day above the inversion - sad that I didn't have my DSLR - made do with iPhone4.
Had to come back down for lunch, skied a bit off Bear, then Cedar bowl, Haulback, Boomerang. Eric then left to warm his feet up and I headed back to Polar Peak for three more laps to shut down that chair. Super super day.
