Right at the Kananaskis boundary on the south side of hwy 546 west of Turner Valley – so nice and close for a morning hike. Its just off the GemTrek map of the area so flies a little under the radar. Rolling hills with aspen and rangeland and we ended up rambling along all the way down the Sheep River for a break. Saved our picnic for when we got back to the truck. Saw crocus and shooting stars plus good views of Bluerock and its neighbors. Sunny warm day helped as well, most of the upper trails were fairly dry so easy going.
