1st High River Scouts & Ventures. What was supposed to be spring camp what which turned into a winter camp with snowshoes needed even in camp until we cored out around the firepit. Two nights at Strawberry Flats.
A great dayhike to Cat Creek falls and up onto a short loop of Cat Creek Hills. This proved a bit much for one leader but we all got back safe albeit in the dark. Lessons were learned. (why always the hard way??) Snowed on and off pretty much all day.
