2020-12-06 | Lawson Ridge South | 2388m | 1680 th | 8.3km | 760m max (550 Shan) | w/ Shannon

A repeat for me for 2020 but a good ‘test’ for Shannon who wanted more elevation today. Mild weather after some recent snow, we made this climb on spikes. Lower Kananasksis lake shone in the sun having frozen over but clear of snow. The Opal range did not disappoint as a view. I flashed the summit after Shannon had enough at around 550m gain, which is pretty good considering the leadup and footing etc. Fine early winter outing.
