A fine day to be out and about. Eric joined me for what was intended to be a snowshoe but turned into a hike. Recent Chinooks have scoured the front country and we found ourselves on about fifty percent dry ground. Gusty wind, cold once we lost the sun, predominated - but it was nice in the lower trees for a bit.
Gained Grass Pass, then a high point on Bull Creek Hills before traversing to the Boundary Pine. Was hoping to have lunch somewhere there but the wind was fierce so we descended to the truck for that. Went for a little tour down to Cataract Creek to see how things are looking and what roads are open for future adventures. Marvelous day in the mountains!
