A rainy day in the forecast, we choose something with interesting potential but not committing if the weather turned poor. This route is from the north end of Barrier lake up to Baldy Pass from the East. We approached from the west last year to do Midnight and Midday peaks, so a new route to a familiar spot. Some flowers along the way and a full lunch at 10:45 (really? guess we were hungry) The rain held off until part way down the return so we'll call that a win.
